Green Leaves
Remember the photo of the icy tree in my patio? The one I took last January?
As I drove up the other day I noticed that it's sprouting the most gorgeous color of green:

Hard to believe those frozen sticks are now covered with such pretty leaves, eh?

I actually went out onto the sand to take this photo! Shocking, I know.

Tribute to Colors
If you go over to my brother's website and check out the "Colors" section, you'll see what I'm paying tribute to...in my own rather small way.
And, so...

I took these on my trip to California earlier this month. We were in Venice near the beach. We'd gone to a gallery to check out their David Hockney paintings. Which were pretty cool.

Red, Sunset White, and Blue

I took a lot of photos at last night's baseball game. This one didn't really fit the theme so I'm posting it here. The sun was almost down. And, the lights had come up. And, I just thought this was a cool shot.

Santa Monica Beach

I went out to California to visit my friends Gail and Ivan a couple of weeks ago. Not surprisingly, I took quite a few photos. I took this one on March 7th from the bluffs overlooking the beach near the Santa Monica Pier.

Mmmmmmm...

I can't believe I haven't posted anything since that silly "dead bug" photo! Oh, the horror! Ah well...
The mountain laurel by the garage at work is in full bloom. I love the smell. It actually makes me happy to show up at work when I'm walking down the stairs from my car and the hint of the mountain laurel scent starts reaching my nose. Ahhhhh...pure bliss. Can you smell it?
