I'm taking a bit of a break from photos taken on my hikes with Jennie. I took this shot on my way home from my folks' house on Father's Day. I noticed that the sun was gonna set soon as I was driving through Bastrop which meant that I had to veer off onto FM 969 so I could get some shots from my favorite spot. 'Gorgeous, isn't it? You miss some of the detail, though, when I re-size the photo to fit the space 'round here. So, you get a bonus today:
