Bones
Towards the end of our hike around Pedernales Falls last August, we spotted these things in the rock:

Those are bones, right? Set in the rock? Wow.
UPDATE. Okay, not bones. Katie and Bill think that they're probably crinoids. And, I'm thinking they're right. Sea critters...boneless (and yes, fossilized) sea critters.
