Orange!

One of the things we did on my trip to California last month was go to The Huntington. This was my second visit to their beautiful gardens. We mostly went to take in a really really cool exhibit: Constable's Great Landscapes. After some tea and a tour of the Constable "sketches" and paintings, we went wandering around the grounds for about an hour or so. And, I took about 60 photos, mostly of flowers. I actually took this one (of a poppy?) near the entrance as we were waiting for them to let us onto the grounds.

And, just for fun...a zoom in on the detail at the center of the flower:

I just love looking at the details. They're so unexpected and cool.
