Hibiscus
Details: 1/100 sec at f/3.5, 64 ISO, 100mm focal length (35mm equiv.)
'Took this photo last month in Diane's front yard. I just couldn't get over the gorgeous color of that flower. Wow.
UPDATE (Oct. 20): So, I get a note from my mom saying that she painted
some hibiscus flowers in a very similar shade of "whatever that color is" a
few years ago. Go check out her
paintings from the past
page and scroll to the bottom to find out more. The painting in question
(and pictured in miniature right here) is the 4th from the bottom. Cool.
