Change of Pace

Another bird I saw hanging around my grandmother's house:

Details: 1/400 sec at f/7.1, 64 ISO, 200mm focal length (35mm equiv.)

I don't have a bird book and have no idea what kind of bird this might be. Ideas?

UPDATE. Dad thinks it's a female house finch.
