Church tower

Last night I walked out of the building just as the sun was approaching the horizon. This evening, it was 30 or 45 minutes earlier. I could tell that we were gonna have another pretty sunset sky but I didn't want to wait around for it to show up. However, as I was about to get into my car (parked on the 4th floor of the garage) I glanced over in the direction of I-35 and something bright caught my eye:

See that church tower? I'd never noticed it before. I guess the sun was hitting it at just the right angle to make it stand out. Why hadn't I ever seen it before? I had to go find it. I decided it must be on the Concordia campus so set off in that direction. And, guess what? You really can't see that spire from ground level uness you're looking for it. Too many trees and hills in the way. It belongs to St. Paul Lutheran Church (near the intersection of Red River and 37th Street). I'm guessing it's affilliated with Concordia but I don't know that for a fact. At any rate, it's quite pretty. I took a couple of close-ups once I found it. I'll post at least one in the next day or two.
