Big 12 Tournament - Day 5 summary
Texas won the Championship game, beating Mizzou 12-7. The highlight of the game was the 11-run 4th inning for Texas. Cameron Rupp hit a grand slam for the extra-special highlight of the highlight inning.
The All-Tournament team:
- First base: Brandon Belt (Texas)
- Second base: Joey Hainsfuther (Baylor)
- Shortstop: Brandon Loy (Texas)
- Third base: Tony Thompson (Kansas)
- Catcher: J.T. Wise (Oklahoma)
- Outfielders: Ryan Lollis (Missouri), Jamie Johnson (Oklahoma), and Kyle Colligan (Texas A&M)
- Designated hitter: Dustin Dickerson (Baylor)
- Starting pitchers: Chance Ruffin (Texas) and Andrew Doyle (Oklahoma)
- Relief pitcher: Craig Fritsch (Baylor)
- Most outstanding player: Brandon Loy (Texas)
