The Blogification of Joanna's Longhorn Baseball Page

Notice anything different? Yep. I finally got around to officially "blogifying" this here page. It had basically been a blog for the last couple of years. But, I wasn't using "official" blog software. And, I wasn't creating archives of individual posts. And, there was no RSS feed. And, on and on.

So, last week I downloaded and installed Movable Type. It's cool. It took me a few days to get the templates and style sheets set up. And, I had a decision to make. Just start fresh? Move the old content to Movable Type? Or, just move some of the old content to Movable Type? You can probably tell that I chose option number 3. I decided to cut the old stuff off at the end of the season...after the the lighting of the Tower for the Championship (on June 29). The older stuff is linked to the right on the main page under the "Old Versions of This Page" header. I moved everything I'd posted after June 29th to the "blogified" version of the page. For the moment, I've decided not to enable comments. That may change. We shall see. At any rate, I hope y'all like the changes.

And... Hook 'em, Horns!
