I thought a break from the hot air balloon theme might be in order so it's back to Oregon today. This photo was taken at some dunes ('wish I could remember the exact name of the area but, alas...) along the southern coast of Oregon. If you look closely, you'll realize that white smudge in the incredibly blue sky isn't a smudge at all but the moon shining fairly bright in the middle of the afternoon. I'm not even a beach person. Nope. Not me. But I can still appreciate the beauty of the dunes. And, the determinaton of that grass to grow no matter what. Of course, there was sand in everything (and, I mean everything!) when we got back to the car. Thus my...ahem...attraction to the beach.
