At long last...I get to the pictures I took at the 1997 Balloon Fiesta in Albuquerque. Remember way back when I first mentioned going? I took tons (almost literally...you should see the stack) of photos and several of 'em actually turned out quite nicely. The "special shape" balloons get more creative each year. And, going to the Balloon Fiesta is very much like watching a fireworks display...you can't help but "ooh" and "ah" over the ingenuity and variety of shapes and colors. The Cuervo tequila bottle was my aunt Gloria's favorite. She simply could not get over how realistic it looked.

I'll probably stick to adding Balloon Fiesta pictures to my Photobox for the next few weeks. If you find them too boring, lemme know and I'll try to intersperse them with more from Alaska and South America.
