Sorry for not updating lately. 'Been busy: I went on a fun trip to Disney World with my sister two weeks ago (I didn't even take the camera so there won't be any photos forthcoming from that adventure) and I've been scanning lots and lots of photos for the Take a Chance page and what with getting ready for Christmas...this has been a rather hectic few weeks.
Anyway, on to today's photo...
My parents moved out to Bastrop about a year ago so they could commune
with nature. Or something like that. Okay...mostly they just wanted to
get away from the hustle and bustle of "city" life (not to mention
getting away from the rules and regulations of living in suburbia).
So they bought a house on a pretty piece of land. Now they have this
gorgeous view as they drink coffee and read the newspaper each morning
on their back porch and generally act like retired folk. I couldn't
resist taking this photo of the fall colors last month.
