Again with Alaska! Obviously, I can't help myself. The scenery was breathtakingly beautiful. This shot was taken near Whittier. The cliffs were so green. And, the water so blue. What a peaceful place to set up your fishing boat, eh? I've never particularly wanted to go fishing but I don't think I'd sneeze at the chance to be on that boat!

We'd ferried over from Valdez (yep, that Valdez...this was before the big oil spill) to Whittier stopping to get a close-up view of the amazing Columbia Glacier which feeds into the Gulf of Alaska.
