My two best friends and I went on a road trip about a week after we graduated from college. Hmmm...a little over 11 years ago. We piled into my parents station wagon and headed west. I have family all over the place as you head west of Austin so our expenses were pretty minimal. 'Good thing since none of us had jobs. Snacks and gas were about all we had to pay for. I guess we were on the road for a week or so. We drove out to New Mexico, then over to my uncle's house in Flagstaff, then back through Albuquerque and Santa Fe. One afternoon while in Flagstaff, we drove up to the Grand Canyon for a few hours. Sadly, it was fairly overcast the entire time we were there. I was awestruck, nevertheless. And, as usual, I took way too many pictures. I guess this is my favorite of the lot.
