Comments

I listened to the game on the radio and kept score as I listened. It sounded like the game was well-played but just didn't go Texas' way. Among the offensive highlights: Harkrider went 3-for-4 with 1 run scored, Walsh went 2-for-4 with 2 runs scored, and Cridland went 1-for-3 with 2 runs batted in. Dunn came on to pitch in the 6th and pitched shut-out ball. Too bad Rupe was doing such a good job on the Aggie end of things, shutting out the Horns from the 4th inning on. By the way, there was a record paid attendance of 7,255.
