Comments

Speerstra pitched a great game and the Horns played solid defense as they beat TCU. Lee also pitched a good game...he just didn't happen to get the support SpeerstrClements to UT from TCU this year) had a great game, going 2-for-2 with 2 walks, 2 runs scored, 3 assists, and 2 put-outs. BTW, the temperature hovered around 60 and the wind blew strongly from lf to rf for most of the game.

    • Lunsford grounded out to 3b (5-3).
    • Connally grounded out to ss (6-3).
    • Huffman singled up the middle.
    • Dunn grounded out to 1b (3U).
  • Texas:
    • Harkrider flew out to cf -- great catch by Lunsford.
    • Gutierrez grounded out to 3b (5-3).
    • Walsh struck out swinging. Silva dropped the ball and had to throw to 1b for the out (2-3).
