Comments

Today's game was not pretty. There were a few high points but, overall, I can't imagine anyone's too happy with how today's game went. Among the (admittedly few) offensive highlights: (1) Johnson and Rumfield hit back-to-back triples in the 2nd and (2) Kiemsteadt stole 2nd and then 3rd to set up his score on a sacrifice fly by Walsh in the 5th.

  - During Kiemsteadt's at bat, Cridland broke for 2b and was caught in a run-down and Spiker broke for home (possible double steal trick play?). TLU charged Spiker who headed back for 3b. TLU threw the ball to 3b. Spiker headed back to home. TLU threw the ball home and it hit Spiker in the back (E5). Spiker made it safely home and Cridland made it all the way to 3b.
