MLB Draft Update
As predicted, Mike Foltynewicz (Texas signee from Illinois) will not play at Texas next year. He officially signed with the Astros today and reports to his new Rookie team in Tennessee tomorrow. Lots of info available in this mlb.com story by Steve Gartner.
No news on other Texas players or signees as of yet. I have been updating my MBL Draft Summary page as I get info on signings. Things are happening fast and furious for other non-Texas players. So, check it out.
UPDATE. That thing about not having news about Texas players isn't quite true. While there's no news about players selected in the draft, there is news. Kyle Lusson (who went undrafted) signed with Tampa Bay a few days ago. Cool.
UPDATE #2 (June 20): Connor Rowe signed and will not be coming back for his senior year. See an interview on KEYE regarding his decision. (H/T: Donald Boyles)
