Game 27: Texas at Oklahoma State

Again, I listened to the game on the radio. Craig Way and Keith Moreland doing the broadcast. They'll be back in Austin tomorrow for the football scrimmage and a non-UT guy's gonna be doing the radio broadcast. Luckily, tomorrow's game will be on TV (Fox Sports) so we shouldn't miss them too much.

The starting line-ups:

Texas Oklahoma State
1 Travis Tucker, 2b
2 Brandon Loy, ss
3 Michael Torres, 3b
4 Russell Moldenhauer, dh
5 Cameron Rupp, c
6 Tant Shepherd, lf
7 Kevin Keyes, rf
8 Preston Clark, 1b
9 Connor Rowe, cf
- Brandon Workman, p
1 Michael Dabbs, cf
2 Tyrone Hambly, ss
3 Neil Medchill, lf
4 Dean Green, 1b
5 Randy McCurry, 3b
6 Tom Belza, 2b
7 Doug Kroll, rf
8 Eric Walker, c
9 Rafael Thomas, dh
- Tyler Blandford, p

Russell Moldenhauer back in...David Hernandez back out. I guess that means today's starter is a right-handed pitcher. Craig and Keith did comment that OSU played a game last week wherein a different pitcher threw each inning and that we might see that again today. Odd. OSU did win that game, though. Shrug.

And, here's how things played out:

It just sounded ugly, people. Texas struggled at the plate again only getting single hits in the 1st, 4th, 8th, and 9th; no multiple-hit innings. Brandon Workman took the loss, Tyler Blandford got the win. And, that's all I have to say today. Wish I had more but I don't. It was not a fun game.

Here's the line (from OSU's LiveStats):
