Two quick notes

I meant to post these last night and forgot. Two things...

First: Kirk Dressendorfer and Keith Moreland have been selected to the fourth National College Baseball Hall of Fame class. Very cool. Congrats to both of them. Here's a link to the TexasSports.com story.

Second: they announced during last night's game that there would be a ceremony before Saturday's game to officially retire Brooks Kieschnick's number. Don't be late to Saturday's game or you'll miss it!

UPDATE. Dates for the remaining jersey number retirement recognition ceremonies have been announced: Kieschnick (March 28), Swindell (April 17), Hooton (April 25), and Bryant (May 9). The Kieschnick, Hooton, and Bryant ceremonies will take place before Saturday games; the Swindell ceremony will take place on a Friday. See the TexasSports.com article for more details.
