Missouri opener postponed

Today's opener in the Missouri series has officially been postponed. I've been expecting this announcement for a couple of hours now. It's very wet outside. The rain has never really stopped falling today. It drizzles for a bit...then rains pretty hard...then goes back to a drizzle. But, never really stops. To top it off, the temperature is 39 °F as I post (at about 2:45 in the afternoon). That's awfully cold for baseball. Although, there's not much wind so it would probably feel warmer than it did during the first couple of games of the Penn State series!

Anyway, the teams are now scheduled to play two 9-inning games tomorrow. First pitch at 1 o'clock.
