A few quick notes
The Daily Texan ran a couple of nice articles last week:
- Spring baseball preview: Fresh arms lead Longhorns by Austin Talbert
- Experienced, healthy Clark pulls it all together for young Longhorn team by Laken Litman
And, the Statesman posted a few stories and blog posts over the last couple of days:
- New turf has new advantage, fewer surprises by Alan Trubow
- Games will count toward Garrido's record by Alan Trubow
- Garrido gains clearer view of life's purpose by Alan Trubow (Quote: "This university could have fired me. I'm going to prove they were right for deciding to keep me." -- Augie Garrido)
- Ruffin to start opener by Alan Trubow
And, one more note: sorry I didn't get the Alumni game photos posted. I was busy. And, then the logic board on my desktop machine went belly up. I'm working on getting the machine repaired (or, more likely, replaced) but it won't be ready by tomorrow. I'll be able to post this weekend from my laptop but won't have my usual set of tools so probably won't post as much as I usually would. I'm so glad the season is finally starting.
Hook 'em!
