Can Texas host a Regional?
Late in tonight's game, Craig and Keith started talking about the possibility of Texas getting to host a Regional after all. I was wondering about that very thing almost a month ago. At the time, I said that the Horns' best hope of hosting was to get a lot of wins as they played out the season. Frankly, I have to admit that I didn't think that was very possible when I posted. Since then, though, the Horns have gone 10-3. With two quality wins over the Aggies (ranked 7th in all the polls) it's starting to look like a real possibility. What if the Horns sweep the Aggies tomorrow? And, then do well in the Big 12 tournament? Yikes. What a thought. I'm getting a little excited over here!
