Quick note about tonight's game

I got a note from a reader (hi, Ben!) this afternoon asking if I'd ever tried CSTV's streaming video. He pointed out that they'll be streaming tonight's game against Rice. I have not tried the service but I may do so tonight if I get home in time. 'Just thought I'd point out the service to anyone else interested in watching the game. And, check out the College Sports TV Coupon Codes for a coupon that might get you the game for free.

UPDATE (7 pm). I got home a bit after 6:30 and went ahead and signed up for the service. The 1st inning was just ending by the time I got signed up and connected. And, now...as the bottom of the 2nd was about to get underway...the game went into "glare" delay. There's a bad glare off a nearby hotel that apparently impedes the batter's ability to see the ball. This is apparently a common occurrence during Rice home games. The announcer pointed out that glare delays usually last about 20 minutes. As for the service? I'm not impressed so far. I am using a Mac and that probably makes a difference but the signal has already dropped out 2 or 3 times. And, the picture isn't that great. I have to reload the page and then choose the game again. Causing me to miss things. They're also using the Rice radio announcers. I'd, of course, much prefer Texas audio. But, that may just be me. Heh.
