Last night's game
I was just reading the Statesman's article about last night's game and was a bit taken aback to read the following:
All the Longhorns looked different in their second outing against the Owls. It helped that Rice showed a video of all the Texas mistakes on the video scoreboard before the game.
"We all were watching that," Hernandez said. "I couldn't believe they showed that right before the game. It definitely got us fired up."
Rice did what? Wow. That's showing some class, huh? Rubbing the Horns' noses in the mistakes they made in their previous meeting? Wow. I honestly can't imagine the folks at Disch-Falk ever doing that sort of thing. Wow.
I'm glad it back-fired on whoever decided to pull that stunt. Very glad.
