Game 9: Texas at Stanford
Texas won the opener 4-2. Adrian Alaniz got his second win of the season and Joey Parigi got his first save.

Texas took a 2-run lead in the 1st when Jordan Danks hit a 2-out 2-run single. Kyle Russell scored the run in the 4th on a wild pitch. And, Drew Stubbs hit a 1-out single to score Nick Peoples (who'd singled, advanced on a sac bunt, and stolen 3b) for the final run of the game. In the post-game show, Coach Garrido said he thought this was the best game the team had played so far this year.
