A nice article about David Maroul (scroll down to the Matt Baumer byline): College World Series MOP makes quick impact with Volcanoes. Taylor Teagarden and Buck Cody are also mentioned.
And, from Baseball America:
Catcher Taylor Teagarden notched only one hit in his first seven games in the short-season Northwest League but has picked up 18 hits in his last 12. He enjoyed his second three-hit night in three games Wednesday, hitting his sixth home run and doubling twice. He's batting .339-6-11 in 56 at-bats at Spokane.
Yesterday, Brandon Fahey went 2-for-4 and had six RBIs, including a two-run home run in the first inning and a grand slam in the fourth as his Bowie Baysox beat the Altoona Curve by the score of 8-0. 75% of the runs batted in. Not bad! (Link). By the way, I think Ryan Hubele was one of the runners that scored on the grand slam. Heh.
